Yesterday was clean the basement floor day. I bought a Spin Mop from The Shopping Channel and was anxious to try it out. Normally I dislike mops, they are hard to wring out and after a while get smelly and you can never get them clean. This one is a little different it is the best mop I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot of different ones including the swiffer and every other mop that has come along. We have a cat and with the cat hair it doesn't just push the hair along the hardwood floors like other mops it picks it up like a magnet. It was fantastic with corners and baseboard.
Cleaning the mop head is easy you just put a little soap in the bucket and place the mop head on the agitator in the water side of the bucket and press on the foot peddle. The agitator will wash the dirt away. To dry or wring out the mop head you place it in the wringer then press the foot pedal. The wringer drys the head.
You can control how wet the mop head is by spinning off excess water in the wringer until the desired dampness is achieved.
