This morning we woke up to torrential downpour and no electricity.  The coffee was halfway brewed when the power went off.  It was cold cereal for breakfast and no sitting at the computer.   The power was supposed to come back on at around 10:30 AM they said but it didn't come back until 12:15 PM.

The rain stopped in time for me to go to the gym.  There was another down pour around three and right now as I write it is coming down again pretty hard with thunder and some lightening.  We needed the rain, the poor grass is turning yellow. 
 
It's hot and it's going to get hotter Environment Canada predicts the uncommonly hot weather that has swept many provinces in recent days is here to stay.

Tony had a dentist appointment today, he has had some pain on the right side of his mouth for some time.  When he went to the dentist last week he was told that he may have a fracture and they would have to cut the gum to see what was going on there, the tooth may have to be extracted.  They did extract the tooth today and sent him home with a prescription for 600mg of ibuprofen.  He seems to be doing ok. 

From the many books I have lined up to read I chose House Rules by Jodi Picoult.  Jodi Picoult's novels are about family, relationships, love and more.
