June Already

Almost half the year has gone by. The warm months go by quickly. Why do I bother planting beautiful annuals when in three months if I'm lucky four months I will have to remove them all? Why Because I love flowers! When the weather is nice I will go into the garden three or four times a day just to look. I'm sad when it's raining like yesterday and today and I cannot go and check to see if any new flowers have appeared. In spite of the yucky weather I spotted a Stella Doro Lily. This image is not mine I borrowed it from the net.

These are the impatiens I planted in the bed in front of our house. The first picture was taken on May 24. The other two pictures were taken seven days later. I will try to remember to take another picture this Friday to see how they progressed.

Do you love those pricey spiral shaped evergreen topiaries? I found this one and the instructions on how to achieve the spiral shape here. I'm thinking should I or shouldn't I. If I do and I mess it up it will grow back, right?

Hi Claudia,
We had the yucky weather on Friday. Awful! but yesterday was back to beautiful.

Love the pictures of your flowers. I'm trying to find some shady areas to hide my annuals in. The summer sun is too hard on them.

Happy Sunday, dear friend. Hugz!

Hi Claudia,
Very pretty. I like the spiral topiary also. Are you going to try to do one? I think that would fun.

Hi Claudia;

Your garden must be beautiful! I wish we had one here at the apartment complex complete with benches to sit and enjoy the beauty of flowers. I like the spiral shaped evergreen topiary. I don't think you'll hurt one by shaping it. Like Marge says, it should be fun. ;-}

Have a lovely beginning of the week my friend. Hugs
