Just finished making a batch of Banana Bread Protein Muffins and an Applesauce Bread is baking in the oven. I got the recipe for the Applesauce Bread on Allrecipies.com. I didn't have the walnuts or the raisins that the recipe called for so I just skipped them, hope it turns out ok.

Skipping aerobics class today going for a hair dye instead.

Reading State of Wonder by Ann Patchett. I'm not too far along with with the book but I like it. I find it well written and easy to read. It's about a research scientist with a pharmaceutical company, who goes to search for her former mentor. The former mentor is working on on a valuable new drug deep in the Amazon. The last person who was sent to find her, Marina's research partner, died before he could complete his mission. I'm now at the part where she has finally met up with the former Mentor and is on her way to the deep jungle.

Your baking sounds dee-lish. It'll be fine w/o the other stuff.

Love the pictures of the cardinals. I had 2 little cardinal eggs in one of my little trees but one day they were suddenly gone. Never did figure out what happened to them. I was sooooooooooo sad!

It's back to the farm for me tomorrow. We're going to Yacht & Beach for the clambake. Matthew's treat. Nice.

Have a great w/e. Hugz!
