We finally had some sunshine on the weekend and Tony and I were were able to do some work in the backyard. We got all the flower beds cleaned up we added some new and they are ready for planting. I only want to add one or two rose bushes and a couple of perenials and lots of annuals. Oh yes I almost forgot I want to plant some tomatoes and pepper plants in between the flowers. Hope it works. The annuals have not arrived at the nurseries yet but there should be some by the weekend.

I wish there were more flowers out but it's still too early. A couple more tulips came up and I planted a few geraniums. They are tiny but at least I have some flowers to enjoy.

Tulips! that's one thing I really miss with living in Florida! They look lovely! Daffodils are also missed here. I was surprised to learn that gladiolas do really well here so I'll be looking for some bulbs and planting them.

Glad the weather was good enough to spend some time outside. We have started the afternoon rainy season. It's gorgeous all day until the late afternoon and we get rained on. It's a good thing! We need the rain.

Happy gardening! Are you working this year? Just wondered! Hugz!
