It's Friday and the sun is shining can't ask for more! I've done a load of washing and I've hung the clothes outside to dry. It's still too wet from all the rain we had this week to work in the garden. Boy did it rain on Wedenesday. It was sunny out when I went to my aerobics class on Wednesday, when I came out of the gym 2 hours later it had clouded over and the skies looked ominous. I thought I'd make it home before it started raining, wrong. It started to come down in buckets while I was on the bus, it was still pouring when I stepped off the bus. Since it was sunny when I left, I didn't bring my umbrella with me. I crossed the street to get to the shelter on the other side of the road, and could not avoid a puddle about 2 inches deep. I was already pretty wet just crossing the street. I waited but for the rain to let up a bit and started to walk the two blocks to get home. About a quarter down the way Tony drove up to pick me up. He was waiting for me near the bus stop but I didn't see him. Today I'm meeting my friend from France before she has to return home next Tuesday. She is here on a Visa and since she was not able to find work she has to return to France. When she gets home she will apply to become a resident of Canada. Tomorrow if it's nice we are having a garage sale. It will be an opportunity to recyle the stuff we are no longer using instead of it ending up in a landfill somewhere.

Happy Friday Claudia;

The weather is beautiful here today too. We haven't had any real down pouring of rain at all this year.

Enjoy the day with your friend and hopefully she'll be there soon to stay. Have a great weekend my friend. Hugs

We have, also, had some pretty wet last week. It was cold here this morning, but warmed up nicely. I hope it gets better weather for you tomorrow.
I am sorry that your friend couldn't find work. That seems to be the story for many people. Keeping my fingers crossed that her application for Canadian residency goes through.
Hugs,
