I had planned on making the banana bread I posted below but thanks to the remnants of Irene (hurricane) we had a power failure after I posted that lasted the whole day up until 10:00 AM this morning.
When I woke up this morning at 5:00 AM I decided to get ready and take the 6:00 AM bus downtown. I needed to wash my hair but with no electricity I wouldn't be able to dry it after washing it so before going to work I stopped at the gym and took another shower washed and blow dried my hair and put on my make up.
I was at work at the usual time, 7:30 AM. At 10:00 AM the network went down and we had no computers for the rest of the afternoon. Could do much of anything, so I filed and took phone calls and answered best I could without the use of a computer. Couldn't blame it on the weather as it was a nice bright sunny day today.

Pretty clever of you to use the gym for you morning routine. I'd never think of that.

Like Marge, I can't get over how Irene reached all the way up to your area. I'm just so thankful it's over and done with.
I can't get over how fast the year, months and time go by. I'm not really a hot weather person but I'm really happy to see this August leave. It's been a horrible one weather wise. I'm looking forward to autumn but definitely not winter. ;-} Hugs
