Claudia and I went to see the new James Bond film SKYFALL starring Daniel Craig as Bond, his third Bond film, and this in my opinion was his best Bond film.
The game of espionage is changing, and both Bond and the head of MI6 known as (M) (Judi Dench) find themselves fighting to prove they are still important in the MI6 organization.
The film opens with an MI6 mission gone very wrong that results in the loss of sensitive information that puts MI6 in danger. The actions of (M)are then put to investigation and probe and the British government is trying to push her into retirement.
Bond is struggling to get back after a serious injury, and (M) seems to be the only one who is confident he is still fit for duty. He is assigned to track down a man called “Silva” (Javier Bardem who played the psycho in the movie "No Country for Old Men" and Juan Antonio in Vicky Christina Barcelona) plays the villain, a computer hacker-terrorist, who creates terror and destruction using technology, With a certain style and crazy, Silva is a real wacko and has a very personal vendetta against M. a superb performance from Javier Bardem.
Judi Dench is excellent,as (M) what makes this film interesting is that it shows how much Bond and (M) are really alike. (M)is tough on Bond, but we see he is her favorite agent, the one she really trusts to get the job done.
The visual effects and locations are amazing, Would see this again. This will be a tough act to follow the next Bond film is in 2014, meanwhile get your fix now, it will be a while for the next adventure, can hardly wait.
PS There is a surprise ending in this film...just to get your curiosity going.

Great review Tony. So good it makes me want to go see the movie which is not something I would ordinarily do. So, that means that Bond owes you one. Good job! Hugz!
Hi Claudia;
What a great review by Tony. Now I can't wait until the DVD comes out as I don't go to theaters. Dame Judi Dench is my favorite actress. I never miss anything she is in. I even watch reruns of her comedy show every Saturday night on PBS and I've seen them all at least 4 times over. LOL!
Have a great day & weekend my friend. Hugs
