We have had perfect weather the last couple of days.  Sunny, not too hot, no humidity and no rain.  It's still early but today is supposed to be the same.

Yesterday I went to Madame Girard's foot care clinic to get my feet "fixed".   I say fixed because my feet feel so much better after.  At a foot care clinic or podiatrist office the procedure is similar to a pedicure except that the results are better (in my opinion).

After disinfecting the foot she cleaned the cuticle and the side of the nails, cut the nails, applied an emollient on the corns and callouses before reducing them.  She finished the care with a massage of the feet using a Gehwol cream.

The clinic was recommended by my friend Gail and since it was close by to her house, she invited Tony and I to drop by for lunch afterwards.  We had salad and sandwiches and macarons for dessert.

Gail has two cats Elvis and Imp.  Both were strays that she took in after her beloved Mikey went to Rainbow Bridge several years ago.  Elvis has to be at least 16 years old although Gail doesn't know for sure.  He has some medical problems, she has to give the cat subcutaneous fluids a few times a week to supplement the water the cat is drinking in order to prevent dehydration and help flush waste products through his kidneys.
