Since the first podiatrist I saw did not find the problem, I went to see another podiatrist yesterday. I explained the problem and pointed to the area where I felt the pain. The culprit, a callous on the bottom of my foot. I am not unfamiliar with callouses but I have never had pain before. The Doctor scraped the area and prescribed a urea cream to apply. He said if I apply it every day I should not need to see a podiatrist for this problem again. Woohoo I can dance again!
There are ducks, Sandhill cranes, bull frogs and turtles that make their home in the pond in front of the house. This guy was making his way up to the road. Afraid he might get hit by a car Tony coaxed it back down towards the pond. There has been so little rain in the area that water in the pond is getting very low, I'm afraid it may dry up.

Good morning!
Good news about your foot. So glad the pain is gone.
Aw! thanks for saving little miss turtle. The ones by my house are coming out of the water and looking for a place to lay their eggs. Spring time makes them do that! :)
Hugz!
Hi Claudia, so happy you are not in pain anymore. sorry it's been a while since I've been by or posted, but it's been a sad and busy couple of weeks. As always I love your pictures. The ducks are so cute. *hugs* Nancze
Hi Claudia;
I had a feeling that first doctor didn't know what he was talking about. Thank goodness you went to a knowledgeable one. I'm happy you can dance again. ;-}
Love the photos especially the cranes. Have a lovely day ahead my friend. Hugs
