Clear and 4C this morning. It was a beautiful sunny day yesterday it went up to 22C. It's going up to 20C today and the nice weather is supposed to continue all week. Yippee!
Tony cleaned the front and back lawns. The front lawn was loaded with gravel since the city would blow all the snow from the street onto our lawns when they ran out of place to dump the snow.
I made a vegetable soup and rice and lentil pie. I don't cook as much as I use to and it shows. I used brown basmati rice instead of white and I didn't have vegetable broth so I used beef. The pie was was good but a little salty, I don't salt but the beef broth had a lot of sodium in it. That's what you get for not checking if you have all the ingredients before starting a recipee. I also burned my arm on the top of the oven.
Tony was going to grill some salmon for me but the barbeque wouldn't light, we thought we might be out of propane but it was full. He fooled around with it and got it started, he'll grill the salmon today.
As you may know hockey is big in Montreal. Hockey fever returned big time when the Montreal finished first in their division. After winning the first two games they have now won three games each and the deciding game will be tomorrow night. I can't watch!

HI Claudia! I found this URL on Nancze's comments. I sent you an e-mail about your other URL blog being PW protected. If this is your new blog URL, I'll change that in my reads. Just let me know :)
We grilled out today at my parents. We had hamburgers, and they were so good. Nothing like using the grill to cook. BBQ of course, is my favorite of all on the grill.
Our hockey team, Penguins, are in the playoffs right now. I have never watched much hockey, unless it's important - like the Stanley Cup.
You my dear, enjoy your week ahead! ~Sending hugs to you
Hi Claudia,
Wow! All that sand. I am so glad that nice weather is finally your way.
I am sorry about your rice and lentil loaf being too salty. Usually, I don't add salt to my plate as I find that most dishes are salty enough for me. My hubby, loads his plates down with salt. It is like taking a bite out of the ocean-*lol*.
I hope you continue to enjoy the warmer weather and you got to cook your salmon on the grill.
Hugs
